MG. ALEJANDRA CÁMARA
Alejandra is Founder and Director of GENESIS. She is also an advisor to the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and the Secretary of Environment in Argentina in sustainable finance. Consultant of United Nations (UNIDO and UNEP) and of several Ministries in Uruguay. She has recently advised the Argentinean presidency in the Climate Sustainability Working Group of G20. She has over 17 years of international experience in environmental markets (carbon credit markets and more recently green bond markets). She worked for more than a decade at BUNGE SA, serving as Originator of Sustainable Projects and as Head of International Climate Change policies reporting to the company’s board of directors in New York. She was also director in London for the most renowned Private Think Tank of Climate Change: Climate Change Capital. She has participated in the development of more than 250 environmental and social projects. Alejandra has been a speaker at several international conferences and has two bachelor’s degrees and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas.
